Foundation Drawing Format in Output Reports – STAAD Foundation Advanced V2024

Proposal:
It is suggested to restore the graphical format used in version V9 for representing foundations in both plan and elevation views within the output reports generated by STAAD Foundation Advanced. The drawings in version V9 were well-dimensioned, clear, and easy to interpret, providing a better presentation compared to those currently seen in version V2024.

Technical Justification:

• Version V9 included detailed and dimensioned plan and elevation views, with accurate annotations, proper scales, and a professional layout suitable for formal documentation.

• In version V2024, the graphical output in reports has diminished in quality, with less clarity, reduced dimensional accuracy, and simpler schematic visuals.

Benefits of restoring the V9 drawing format in reports:

• Enhances the clarity and professionalism of engineering deliverables.

• Saves time by eliminating the need for post-processing or redrawing views outside the software.
